Loving this 2014 Novara Verita I just got at the end of last year. She just finished her first metric century this weekend. First 200k will be next month!

Here's the bike I rode on my century last Sunday. 1959 Allegro Special, made in Switzerland. Pretty close to original, but it has 700 x 32c clinchers now, rather than the original tubular tires. I guess it was about as good a bike as you could get in 1959.

I just finished the Almanzo 100 (Saturday). While I was out riding the Almanzo, my wife signed us up for the Tour de Cure century in two weeks; then I'm going to the Westside Dirty Benjamin in 4 weeks. So, that's 3 century-rides in 5 weeks.
For the gravel centuries - it's the Kona Dew Drop:
After picture from 2014 Benjamin - changes for 2015: Brooks B17, rear blade fender, extra bottle racks on fork, and move the pump to the seat tube. I'm also going to change out the 28c Panaracer T-Serv tires for a better/wider gravel tire - I liked the T-Servs on the 2014 Benjamin, but HATED them on the 2015 Almanzo.
For the charity ride, I want to ride my 'new' Mondonico:
However, if it's raining, it will likely be the Kona.

Fixed gear with comfy set up. 42mm tires and North Road bars.
One imperial century and several metric, including one gravel.
I ride most of my mileage on this bike.

I've been riding a Kilo as a commuter for two years now (except when I pull the trailer, I ride the Tourist). The Kilo is a very capable bike. I ride mine SS though, even though I rode FG last summer for a month to prove I could. Would love to do a century on mine!

I've been doing a little more research on this bike over the past couple of days with the help of @rex615 and other threads on the topic. I am very seriously considering getting one of the frames from bike island to build it up as my my winter bike. I've been riding an 80's mountain bike as my winter commuter for a very long time and have been looking for an inexpensive frame to run a Sturmey Archer 3-speed, drum brake, fenders and studded tires. This frame may be just the ticket. I'll post something in the winter forum as I am going to need the help and advice from my BF friends on this project.
The beauty of the Kilo is they are a lot of bike for the buck, and you can do a lot with them. And you'll need a freewheel id you ride SS as the stock Kilo only comes with a rear cog. But you build the frame as you wish!

Rode my last three centuries on these bikes
1978 Raleigh Team Professional. Campagnolo Super Record, tubular Fiamme Ergal rims. At the time, the gearing was 53/42 x 12-17 which was a little tough.
1982 Peugeot PSV. Mavic and Stronglight components with Retroshifts, Mavic Open Pro rims.
1997 Vitus 997. Carbon tubing, aluminum lugs, Campagnolo Record 10 triple drivetrain, Mavic Open Pro rims.

Time to introduce my Elephant NFE to this thread, having just completed its first brevet:
Here is my setup:
* NFE stock frame and fork, size S
* Haulin' Colin porteur rack (NFE green)
* Shimano 5703 shifters (silver)
* Alpina-d FD
* Problem Solvers cable pulley
* Ultegra 6700 RD (10 speed)
* Ultegra 6700 12-30 cassette
* Ultegra CN-6600 chain
* Spa Cycles Touring triple crank (46-34-24, silver)
* Shimano UN55 68x113 mm square taper BB
* Shimano PD-M530 pedals
* TRP Spyre SLC (silver)
* Shimano 160 mm rotors
* Shimano M-System brake housing
* Swiss Stop 15s pads (not installed yet, still using stock TRP pads)
* Tange Seiki DX4 head set
* Dimension threadless stem, 80 mm, silver
* Nitto Randonneur handlebar, 450 mm
* Nitto S65 seatpost, 27.2 mm x 300 mm
* Brooks B17
* Custom 650B wheels built by GS Astuto:
- Velocity Blunt SL 27.5 rims, 32H
- SP PL-8 dynamo hub
- White Industries CLD disk brake rear hub
* B&M Lumotec IQ Cyo Premium
* B&M Secula Plus tail light
* Tioga QR skewer set, 100/135 mm, silver
* Compass Babyshoe Pass EL (650B x 42)
* Schwalbe SV-12 tubes
* SimWorks by Honjo Turtle 58 fenders
The bag you see on the porteur rack once held a Kyocera Hi8 video camera. I zip-tied it to the rack and it worked very well for me at the brevet, holding just the bare essentials I needed (tools, tubes, small camera, batteries, pack of dried figs, etc).
(This is my second bike - my other long distance bike is a Bike Friday Pocket Rocket that has done over 35,000 km over the past 4+ years)
