My guess is a 1992. Good, solid bike. I have a 1990 version. The bad thing about the comp model is that it has no rack mounts on the seat stays. I had to use p-clamps to put a rear rack on mine.

I would only go 50-75 tops.

Today I also found a Giant OCR (1,2 or 3 dunno).

It seems to have some decent tyres allowance and the price doesn't seem bad. However, aluminium again (unbelievable how hard it is to find a good steel frame bike in Italy) and I am not sure if it has the eyelets for a rack.

If you are looking to do an MTB conversion or for a tourer, this is not a good candidate. This is a pure road bike.

I have no idea what your local market prices are, but for where I am at, what works out to about $120 wouldn't be an unfair price at all for that bike.

I'd pass on the Giant. Nowhere to put racks, and what looks to be pretty tall gearing.

Hi fellas,

I am still waiting to see a biomechanics specialist to check how my injury healed and what kind of geometries will be more suitable to me.

In the meanwhile I found this second hand Gary Fischer. Do you have any idea of what model it is?

I was thinking to offer €50 if in good order. Thoughts?

Maybe a 1993 Advance? Hard to tell without more details.

don't worry too much about frame material.
aluminium is fine.
more important is the fit.

Definitely! I'm looking forward to my visit with a biomechanics specialist (need it for other stuff as well).
