Nice condition, looks to be a 1988 model, top of the line for the touring bikes.
Miyata Spline triple butted Cr-Mo tubing and Miyata Spline Cr-Mo complete fork.
57 cm (22 1/2") from center of crank to top of seat tube.
56 cm top tube, center to center.

Original black rear carrier, bottle cage and computer in working condition.

Very nice and my size, . I've wanted one of these for a long time but Miyatas just didn't have any market presence where I live and they never crop up locally.

Isn’t that funny? I’ve never seen a Univega and only 1 centurion in the past 15 years. Ive had 3 Miyatas, kept 2!

Great looking 1000, good luck with the sale!

I'm looking for my 1988 Miyata 1000. It was stolen and sold from Las Cruces NM in 2019. This post is the most frequent post I've come across over the years and I never really looked at it because you're in Ohio and I'm in NM. I'm only looking now because it was pointed out to me that it's possible for someone from another state to have bought it, cleaned it up, and resold it. So I'm just asking, did you purchase this bike from someone in New Mexico? Or El Paso,TX?

I look at these threads, too, for similar reasons. My 1981 was stolen in 1989.

I bought it from Cleveland area, Shaker Hts.
I am sure it was from the 1st owner, he was a elderly man and he was not using it anymore. The bike was still equipped for long rides with bags and computer.
