@iab. - very nice, those flange openings were used nearly identical by Campagnolo decades later. Those were almost unobtainable too. I forget the group from which they came in the Corsa Record era.

I’m working on a couple of 1940 British bikes and the parts have started making their way across the pond.
Chater Lea crank arms and chain ring
A NOS 3 speed freewheel. The freewheel is going on the Fothergill while the Chater Lea parts are destined for the Hetchins.

Picked it up from Chicago Al. I've not yet installed the matching front derailleur, but the Accushift business worked more-or-less right out of the box. All I had to do was adjust the high limit screw to line up the guide pulley under the small cog, and presto! my winter ride has indexed shifting! (It was ghost shifting like crazy in friction mode. Hopefully the switch to indexed will lessen that tendency.) Thanks, Alan.

Got an orphaned lever today from NJ to make a set for one of my builds. Needs a few parts and some cleaning but should work OK. Smiles, MH
The clamp looks a bit funny but I found it is a Suntour clamp band, so a new band is in order.

I have something of a liking for three speeds and when this nos BSA hub came up on Ebay I followed it with interest and got it for a reasonable price, funnily enough vintage nos SA and other 3 speed hubs tend to go for less than a new one does. After winning it I looked around for a suitable front hub and the same seller had this nos Bayliss Wiley on buy it now and they arrived today, I have a suitable 1950 bike to put them on but am now looking for some suitable 32/40 spoke rims, either Dunlop alloy 26 x 1 3/8 for SA stainless steel the same size, they are out there I just need to be patient.

The Season is gathering speed. Three packages showed up today.
A complete Huret Challenger transmission, which I bought for the levers I needed for my Merckx. The seller even threw in a set of Huret TT cable clamps. Nice! Also a Brooks Colt in very nice condition. And a VAR RL-405 for a bunch of Normandy freewheels I somehow seem to have collected.

Finally got in these dust caps for the Krapf bike. I should get around to putting these on this weekend while I also swap in the new chain rings also.

IMO they are the most beautiful calipers that Weinmann made. Enjoy!

Got some Tanaka fenders from Soma Fab for the Super Sport. Went to take it for a test ride yesterday, but something was rubbing. It was too cold for on-the-road diagnosis, so I returned home and grabbed another bike. I think I figured it out this morning, but can't get out right now to verify my "fix."
