1985 Trek 720, 21" with Racks
I built this up for touring, did a 2K Midwest USA tour with it in 2019, but I'm now doing the N-1 (what?!!) thing as I let go of the Trek and a Miyata Twelve Hundred for a Kona Rove NRB. Anyway...
21", rides like a 54cm.
Original equipment:
seatpost
dearhead front derailleur,
Stonglight needle bearing headset
brakes
Everything else has been upgraded:
36 hole Ultegra hubs with Velocity Synergy rims (the rear rim is off center style to greatly reduce the dish needed on the freehub side)
9 speed Deore rear derailleur
randonneur style bars from an '84 Miyata with Brooks microfiber bar tape in antique brown to match the saddle
Cane Creek brake levers
IRD QB55 bottom bracket
IRD Defiant Triple Crankset (24/36/48t 172.5mm)
Dura Ace barend shifters, antique brown Brooks B17
Front rack is a vintage Blackburn that was powder coated blue to match the other original racks (there is a third bottle cage on the underside of the downtube that is not pictured).
Original pedals are now gone, replaced with Crank Brothers Stamp II large.
It's a Cadillac
$1200, Located in Minnesota, USA, willing to ship

This is a fine build. The blue racks and water bottle cages are a plus.
