I run sew-ups when period and model correct to do so - most of the time. I find them to offer good performance but to be a paint in the butt to install and maintain. Maintenance consists of two things - pump to specified pressure and replace if they flat out. I do like the smell of the glue though!-)

How about two holes in a single puncture of a tubular?
This was a "snakebite" puncture on the first ride of a new Conti Sprinter. It was near dusk and I didn't see this rock on the shoulder of the road. Ugh!
For those who say you can't get a snakebite puncture on a tubular, I have to disagree....
This is the bike being ridden...
I did get the snakebite patched, although I hadn't expected that it would be so hard to find a puncture when there was no damage to the tread. A bit of detective work soon revealed the approximate location, though.

Here I am at the very first Eroica CA heading for the french fries at Olea Farms. I had just ridden up the steep part of their road (close to the main road), in a much too big gear, at least for me (44 or 45x28). I wanted to barf up a lung. This photo is from about 75 yards past where I stopped until my heart rate came back from quadruple digits, and I was feeling like crap. Not so much that I forgot to stand for the photo, but I was hurtin' for certain.
The frame is a 1961 Bianchi Competizione (4-5 cms too small for me) with period-appropriate parts, including tubulars (low-end Continentals). Campy NR crank with 151mm bcd. Campy NR high flange hubs. Brooks saddle. Campy pedals, Christophe clips, and the aforementioned Alfredo Bind Extra straps.
I rode tubulars on the same bike for another Eroica CA (the last one in Paso Robles) and haven't used either since. I doubt I ever will ride tubulars or that frame ever again. Not even for Eroica.

Same situation. Just back from a ride on the 753 Lejeune riding on FMBs. Fairly nice here today although 20+ MPH winds. Storms tomorrow. NFW am I going out tomorrow. Obligatory pic of bike.
