Wide fit higher toe box flat shoes
I found the Freerider flat shoes narrow and stiff. Then the Freerider pros are heavy and chunky.
Googling specialized 2FO roost flat shoes they say these are more stiff than Freeriders.
Pearl Izumi Alp Launch flat shoes w Boa some say too narrow for their wide feet.
Anyone use either of these two. I’m looking for something with softer cushioning on the sides.

I have wide feet and found the five-tens too small (especially toe-box). I got the Specialzed 2FO roost and found them to work (but size up since they do run small).

I took one pair of Five Tens regular Freeriders out of storage, the largest size I had. Rode with them on a short trip. I hate wearing new shoes because they need to be broken in. More difficult when you have ankle injury.
I’m a size 9 in 2E width for regular shoes. These Freeriders are size US 10. Pretty stiff but might need a couple more trips on the bike to soften them up.
I also went to the store and tried on the Freerider pros (previously had these). Size 9.5 - too narrow. Size 10 - little loose., These more suited for riders with a foot arch. I have flat feet, no arch.
