I don't think we'll be seeing much of Theo Bos on the road

Only if you believe trying to advance up the peleton with several km/hr against the barricades is a smart move, and that an overtaking rider has no obligation to advance safely.
This is not the track. There is no Sprinter's Lane.

It's unpossible that anyone can look at that and not see that as Bos dragging that guy down.

Bos had his hand on the yellow jersey's shoulder when he stood up to sprint after bumping into the rider to his right.
He could not have generated that fast a movement/fall from the yellow jersey at arms length. Either:
1) Bos moved Impey into the legs of the barriers which caused the fall (Unlikely because he is still to Bos's right when he begins to fall)
2) Impey moved left and/or fell on his own, Bos merely tried to push him away/stay up
3) Bos hit the leg of barrier with his front wheel (he does bump immediately before the incident), then his hand on Impey is his only lifeline, and he tried to stay up
In either 2 or 3, where Bos did not act aggressively, it is still his fault:

Is it all Bos' fault? No.
Is he at least halfway responsible for the incident? I guess he is.
Chalk it up as a racing incident. Worse stuff has happened, and riders have been worse at fault.

Impey only flies forward relative to Bos. His forward movement not so dramatic if you look at the rest of the field. Looks more like Bos decelerated quickly (as in, he grabbed a bunch of front brake or something) and Impey fell left into a space that no longer contained a person, which would put both riders at fault.

I thought it looked pretty clear that bos was trying to push impey forward and away from him to give him more room. probably realizing that he was boxed in and unable to contest the sprint anyhow. unfortunately either impey freaked out, or bos hit the rail or something. Impey was looking pretty squirrelly throughout the sprint leadup, no doubt because his jersey might have been on the line.

Either the Incredible Hulk was in that bike race, or you guys don't understand physics.
No way in hell could he drag him across his own front wheel at 40mph.

something to the effect of" i heard from my brother that people think i pulled impey down. that would be a kamikazee move. i'm not crazy, at that speed and position i'd take myself out. no way.
the rest is him saying that his memory of the crash is a little fuzzy, but that hit the foot of a barrier, which caused the crash.
he also hoped for good tv images so he could see what happened, and that a UCI official said that they didn't see anything wrong with the crash.

hmmm. My understanding is if you take your hands off the bars and touch another rider you're wrong. I recall Hincapie getting DQed in a sprint once. Looking at the video about 47 times, Bos doesn't seem close enough to the barrier to hit any part of it, but the camera angle and all are really poor to look at it in detail. I'd like to hear what Impey has to say.

Looks to me like he put his arm out to fend off the yellow jersey, clipped the barrier and then hung on for dear life to try and keep himself upright. Total wanka move IMO. Should get a months ban for being a meathead. WTF was he doing trying to move up along those barriers?
BTW, it looked like the Istanbul AA chapter set up the barricades after having stopped at the boozer on the way.

Also, I ROFLMAO at all the crashes. It was like there were a bunch of Colombians leading out clones of Graeme Brown and René Haselbacher, all of them blindfolded, with a $1,000,000 first prize, while re-enacting Death Race 2000.
