Been curious and want to try for mixed city use. Found a Dahon Formula S18 for sale. Was local but seller moved 100 miles away. Good chance we can get together soon.
Is $200 fair?

If it's in good shape it's underpriced. That's a nice bike.

So as I said the seller moved 100 miles away just after placing the ad. I was the only one to respond and we have exchanged emails. They now live in a really small town pretty far from anything so as soon as one of us makes the trip the deal will happen.
I get that it's a great deal but I'm not in a hurry enough to drive four hours round trip just to make it happen.

In the western US, 100 miles is 'nearby'... 150 mi, each way, is 2 hours ..
Coast, Here, over coast range, to Portland..

I get that. I live in rural western Colorado. Actually the bike started 45 miles away and moved 140 miles away. All two lane, 2+ hours each way and no other reason to make the trip.

A moving blanket from UHaul (or Lowes) and a roll of tape, in the belly of the bus...
Haven't done with bicycles but HAVE with others things before.
Just a thought....

You might want to return the next day after touring around on the bike there. Take tools and pump for adjustments.
