Shimano RD-R8000 SS Cage Length
Could someone here with a Shimano Ultegra RD-R8000 SS rear derailleur please measure the length of the cage? To be clear, SS is the short cage.
The distance between the centers of the pulley bolts/screws would be fine.
Thanks in advance

OK, I'm intrigued. What project would require this info?

20" wheels. I want to make sure the cage doesn't go much lower than my current 6700 SS setup. I'm guessing it will, the R8000 SS cage looks longer, but I'd like to know for sure.
Do you have this derailleur?

Sorry, no. Maybe stop by a shop and measure if nobody steps up.

Doubt there is more than a cm difference in SS cage lengths between the 6700 and 8000 RD, I suspect the change in mounting bolt
versus pivot would account for the biggest difference in RD max height. The 8000 separates the pivot point from the mounting
bolt where the 6700 pivot is at the mounting bolt. This gives the 8000 a native reach to 30t
where 6700 gets uncomfortable at >28t for the SS.
