I suffered a bit of a bar tape crisis myself recently, 'tweren't nothin' a little electrical tape couldn't fix though.

I used to retape every year in the spring. But in the last 5 years or so I have been going 2 and 3 years between rewraps. A little Dawn liquid and a nail brush, white Sram super cork looks like new again. Can't beat it.

I was in the hospital for a couple weeks in 2016 and afterwards, every doc I went to for the next year wanted to know when my sleep test was. I figured that the floor nurses must have charted me for apnea or something which my doc confirmed and finally convinced me to get a test. It was a good thing. Last night, my machine recorded 0.3 events per hour over 8 hours. I can't remember my original test but I know the events per hour were in the double digits. I own a regular machine and a travel machine.
