Modern road bike conversions
I used to think you could only convert vintage road bikes into fixed gears but have recently seen these online. Has anyone used either of them before? Do they hold up to the demands of a fixed-gear drivetrain?
White Industries ENO hub
Dropout adapters
You could technically convert any bike into a fixed gear with these, right?
Many thanks

People have been using those ENO hubs a long time, they are very high quality, though I’ve never owned one.
Those dropout adapters seem pretty sketchy, I’d worry about them rotating and losing chain tension, or worse.

I think you're right about the adapters. The only way I see them staying stable is if you get the axle to be right below those bolts, but hey, I guess it's achievable with a half link

I used to have an ENO laced to a 26" wheel. It was pretty fly, super easy to dial in tension. That being said, most bikes will "magic gear" with a half link and a good assortment of chainrings. There's a calculator somewhere that gives you the possible combinations after you input the chainstay length.

I raced SS cyclocross for about 5 years on a ENO wheel. Those things are bombproof.
