Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Took delivery of my Domane 6.2 P1--glad I went with the yellow/black.

Everyone on the 41 was giving me (good-natured) poop about the whole "Livestrong" color scheme. But I gotta tell you--everywhere I go, this bike attracts attention. Everyone likes it. When I go on a group ride, in a sea of black, white, red and blue bikes, there is not a one that looks like mine.

I like the color scheme AND the bike. Yellow has always been a good color for bicycles... it's classic. The new black/yellow is a new take on classic colors. It looks great.

"He done good didn't he Fred?"

That would be classic. I'm dating myself here.

Cool bike and the color scheme does stand out. That Stryper kit might look, um, "interesting" on it.

I ordered a P1 Domane 6-series in the blue/black "Select" finish last December. From order to delivery, the time was a little over a month.

You got that right! To balance out the cost of the carbon wheels, I went with Ultegra instead of Dura Ace. Still...when I tell my non-cycling friends how much I paid for it, they look at me as if I'm nuts.

I prefer the color scheme in my C59, but yours is a nice bike.

Enjoy it in good health--ride often and ride safely.

+1. I was once cornered on that question, along with how many miles/year I put on it. When the math came out to more than $1/mile in the first year, he laughed.

Maybe it's an optical illusion but that bike looks tiny. Good looking bike by the way.

Nice bike! I've always been a classic black/white guy, but if you're going to do color, I like bright colors. Blue, red, etc. just don't do anything for me. I had a black Colnago with fluorescent green highlights that was the coolest bike ever! Sadly, it just never fit me right. Too bad, I really loved the looks.
