OK, here are a few pictures of the frame, ugly charred paint and all. After I took these pictures I sprayed some grey primer on it to keep it from rusting and built it up. I'm going to ride it for a week or two and make sure everything's OK before powdercoating it, probably bright red. It's so ugly I may have to take it on the Tuesday night World Championships ride.

There probably were, 8 years ago when it was posted. Looks like the poster was hosting them on a webpage that no longer exists.

Amazingly, I am still at the same email address and got a notification for the posts here..
I built the bike, rode it here, took it to Spain, rode it up and down some Category 1 climbs with no problem. Eventually I bought a titanium frame and had it S&S coupled and gave this frame to a local guy. Don't know if he ever used it again and I've lost track of who it was.
So here are pics of the frame from 8 years ago. The album is public if you want to see more, I'm too lazy to put more here. :-)

That is really neat, @KendallF! Usually when someone bumps such an old thread, I don't hold out much hope of seeing what was lost. Thank you!

Wow! I love it...Thanks for coming back with the pictures...I was picturing in my head something a bit different while reading through the thread, but how you actually did it is much better lol. It turned out really great!
