Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've not had a customer service call like that. I literally almost started LOL.

A couple times I got transferred to a different agent. Both times the transferor wished both me and the person who was picking up the call a good day before she departed.

The pharmacist who came on last was having none of that. He rattled through a few things, asked if I had any questions, and basically just hung up when I said "nope."

My favorite is halibut n chips. It was consumed at the Sea-Tac airport numerous times, until that restaurant disappeared.

They're so harsh, like they got important work to do or something. smh

Sounds like my former pcp . . . which explains why he's my former pcp.

This isn't even a great picture.

Sounds like fun. I have only built 36 hole 3x.
#shelteredlife.
Reminds me I stumbled across a pile of rims while re-organizing recently. Some building in my (hopefully near) future.

I like shrimp, but honestly, because The Older Boy 1) works in the Meat and Seafood department, and 2) has the usual Autistic Spectrum tendency to routine, shrimp is less of a treat - he always keeps an eye out for BOGO sales on 16-20s and larger, and because both Boys are allergic to actual fish, THAT is now a rare treat. So when I was in Boston and had the opportunity to order Fish & Chips or Shrimp & Chips, I went for the fish. It was wonderful. And at that, it was probably just really pedestrian.

Still positive this morning. OTOH, my HR and HRV are back in the green. But I won't be dumb enough to ride, so my bicycles will be feeling unloved. . But I should be getting the second cone wrench today, so maybe I can at least rebuild the hubs.

Both Boys tested negative this AM, so perhaps I DIDN'T infect them when we sat around the table enjoying Nibbles when I got home on Friday night. SInce then, they've basically been isolating in their rooms, by acting exactly the way they normally do.

They must've had an Ivar's in there.

I definitely ate my share of halibut when I was up in the PNW.

That's the per person rate.

If you have a group of cyclists, you're better off packing into LesterOfPuppets ' van.
