1st ride of the season yesterday.

I took advantage of the warmer weather to get out and ride for the first time yesterday and it felt great. Some of the offseason maintenance got finished in time for an outdoor testride and not only did everything seem to come out fine with the work I did, it was nice enough to keep going for a while. Quite a nice change from the 20+ inches of snow and cold we had a few weeks ago.

Nice! I got my first commute in today. What a great feeling to be back out on the bike again (even if it is only for a day or two)

This time of year the snow starts melting and the streets get yucky. Also the potholes get bigger as well. Enjoy the weather and hopefully it lasts.

Yep, even if the first few feet were filled with thoughts of "the brakes need adjusting" while steering for the first time in months.

I look forward to this time of year when I start seeing more people getting out on their bikes. It gets a little disheartening riding all winter and basically not seeing another bike on the road for weeks at a time.
