FS: 53cm 1971 Hetchins Italia - Almost All Original
1971 Hetchins Custom Built Italia
Seat tube 53cm C-to-T, Top tube 54cm C-to-C, 30.5" Stand over height, 41cm Chain stays
Paint and decals in very good condition for a 50 year old bike with a few chips and scratches - no rust. Celeste with Red head tube and seat tube panels. Chrome plated custom cut out long point lugs with some peeling otherwise no rust
All original except for saddle, bar tape and tires
Built for SF Bay Area woman who was living in the UK in 1971. Bike has been a wall hanger since probably the 1990's
Serial # H10427 - Hetchins Rack with matching Serial #
Campagnolo 36H Large Flange Hubs with Super Champion Record du Monde Tubular rims. Tires 10+ years old, should be replaced.
Campagnolo Headset, Seatpost, Pedals, Front Derailleur and Shift Levers
Suntour GT Steel Rear Derailleur. Supposedly Alf Hetchins didn't like the Campagnolo Gran Turismo Derailleurs so he used the early Suntour GTs instead
TA Pro 5 Vis 175mm Cranks with 48-38T Randonneur Chainrings
14-32T Suntour 5 Speed Freewheel
Universal 61 Brake Calipers with special Weinmann Levers (new reproduction Weinmann hoods will be provided with bike)
65mm 3TTT Record Stem for 25.4mm Bars. 38cm KB Randonneur Bars
