Does this tubeless tire need immediate replacement? If so, any suggestions?
I have Vittoria Corsa 700 x 28 tubeless tires in both the front and the rear. I noticed that the casing is visible in several spots on the rear tire. This surprised me because I have used the tire for just over a month. Is this because the tires are designed for racing. I haven't had any issues with the tire yet. Based on the pictures, do the tire need to be replaced immediately or soon? If so, does anyone have any recommendations for a 700 x 28 tubeless tire that would last longer, even it has more rolling resistance? Thanks

What catastrophe are you expecting if it fails?
If I didn't have any important rides coming up or as long as I'm not going down hill for long periods at 50 plus mph with cliffs on my side of the road, then I'll be happy to ride them until they flat.

I wouldn't say they need immediate replacement, but you might experience air loss or sealant seeping through those spots. How long you want to put up with either is up to you. Schwalbe Pro Ones and Conti GP 5000s are pretty durable.

I've had tires look like that a few weeks after buying them. I use the rear tire to lean my bike against walls and curbs when at rest stops, so it was probably an abrasion from doing that. The casing wasn't torn and it didn't affect the tire in any way aside from annoying me every time I looked at it.

Something has rubbed against the tire's sidewall rather badly. That's not wear from riding, that's handling damage.

The edge of the rim does kinda-sorta look like it's been rolling on pavement. But that might well be something else since no aluminum is showing through the finish.

Meh, it's a lightweight racing tire like the OP said. Sidewalls don't roll on the pavement and the rubber isn't the part that holds air, so they don't need to have much material. the catch to that is they tear/wear easily when rubbed against something.
