I'm looking for a new bike. (leading towards Masi) Need opinions..
As some of you know, my Bianchi was stolen this Wed in Pittsburgh after riding at the track while I was eating at a restaurant. So now that I'm roadbike-less, I've been shopping around for something. I was at the LBS today who sells Trek and Fisher, and my friend that works there said that they carry Masi also. I looked at the new catalog with the geometry and everything and I'm kinda heading towards their new Evoluzione frame with Sram Apex.
I have yet to really hear anything about Masi bikes and their construction. My biggest thing about the frame is the $1700 model has Mid Modulus Carbon. I have no idea between that and HMCF if durability, weight, dampening, and stiffness. The biggest thing about all Masi frames, despite of material is that they all carry a LIFETIME WARRANTY. That, to me is a big selling point as I've been reading about people getting screwed over their warranty as of late.
I got no problems with my LBS, although I've heard some really ****ty stuff happen to good people. They've always pulled through for me in all situations regarding replacement of goods and whatnot along with the same for other guys. Even with my mountain bike that I turned in today for a drivetrain swap form singlespeed to 21s so I have something to ride around my friend said he would have it done tomorrow even though he's building 2011's in the shop.
Also, does anyone else have any other brands they could recommend?

My new team for 2011 will be going with the MASI Evoluzione as our team bikes, mostly due to the price point. Kind of odd for me ordering a frame that I really know nothing about and can't find any reviews about yet. Hoping some news/reviews about the bikes will come out of Interbike, but haven't heard anything yet.
