Anybody use a clip to secure your pump?

8 of these came into my possession.

Myself, I prefer my pump along the seat tube.

I tend to lift my bikes from the top tube and find pumps kept up there get in my way, I knock them off plus they tend to rattle.

these felt lined clips seem like I good idea, might not scratch a frame, but I’ve never used one.

Velcro. For lack of Velcro duct tape. Nothing ruins a multi day touring trip like loosing your pump and then getting a flat. I haven't done those in a long time but I'm still get twitchy remembering when it happened

Yeah, used a pair for my '70s Motobecane. Held the pump fine, didn't scratch anything, no rattles.

I have a couple of them as well. Not sure of the date of manufacture, but came to me in a box of parts from 1962 with the original invoice.

None of my frames will hold a full size frame pump, which is unfortunate as I have 2. Thus I migrated to big chamber mini ‘ish sized pumps that have holders that install under a bottle cage. Works OK

(Without picture evidence) I have put pumps in many places, but never in a clip.
