Older and newer 10 sp Centaur crankset compatibility?
Hello,
I bought this used Centaur groupset (Ultra torque cranks) for my future project, looks like it is older Centaur from about 2007 or so.
Cranks are longer (175) than I usually use, so I'll try them and maybe change them.
Now, I know that square taper, ultra torque and power torque bb's/cups are not interchangeable. How about 10 sp Centaur cranksets? Will these shifters have problems shifting newer power torque or older square taper-type of 10 sp Centaur cranks? Will they shift any Campagnolo 10 sp crankset (Chorus, Record etc)? Any other caveats?
Also, are ultra torque cups suitable for vintage ITA 70 mm wide bb shell, will the axle's hirth joint be fully engaged, or maybe too long? Or maybe ultra torque are only suitable for modern/modernish bb shells?

Will these shifters have problems shifting newer power torque or older square taper-type of 10 sp Centaur cranks? 10 speed refers to the ring to ring spacing and nothing else. So any Campy 10 speed system should have the same ring C-C spacing independent of how the BB is configured.
If the BB is an Itl. spec it will already be designed for a 70mm shell width and the crank spindle's length.
