I was going to suggest something like Re-Cycle, too.

Alternatively,
Workbike
Give A Hoot; Bike Commute
Transit Cycles

No man, Zigflob bicycles is a huge successful grocery chain in the New York area.

I really like Transit cycles. Sounds very English.

Any advice is appreciated.
I like Mt Cheaha, but as Mt Cheaha bicycles, or similar, not focusing on repair, per se.

I like the idea of keeping the name in line with my objective of providing used commuter bikes because it keeps customers from wondering what the shop is about. They know up front what to expect. I can't think of a good name that goes with this idea.

I want the name to stand out, something original. That's what I like about Odyssey Cycles. I've never heard of it. A google search confirms it's not in use.

Re-Cycle Bicycles is a great name but so many others already use this that I can't stand out. It's not memorable. It's generic. Same with Transit Cycles.

Odyssey Cycles does sound more "sophisticated" at least to me. It gives a picture of a clean, organized shop. My two cents...

My LBS is actually named "Snitger's Bicycle Store". If you want Google to return your shop in a search, "unique" is the key. I think it's a German name.

I'd say AAAA Aardvark Bike Shop. If people still used phone books, so you'd be first in the listings.

Just to show how hard it is to pick a unique name, there is a Recycled Cycles by me, focusing mainly on low-cost used cycles

I like Odyssey, but wonder if there might be a problem sharing the name with Odyssey BMX.

A Bicycle Odyssey is a Long Standing Shop In Sausalito Cal..

Local Here.. Bikes and Beyond .. has been around since '88. Coastal touring bike riders stop here and start tours on bikes they ship ahead.
