Enviolo gear cable keeps popping out after bike service
Hi folks,
I just received my gates cdx with enviolo gears back from its first maintenance and back tube change due to a flat. After biking with it for a few minutes, I tried to shift gears and I heard a clunk and couldn’t shift anymore. On close inspection, one of the gear cables had come out of the rear socket. With some effort I managed to put it back in correctly, but a few minutes later it came out again. I repeated by adjusting the tension in the barrel adjusters a bit but it happened again.
Do you know what could be wrong? Is it something I can fix myself or does it need to go back to the shop? (It’s quite far)
Thank you in advance!

Without looking, my guess is something is causing the cable to bind inside the housing. When your shift loosens the cable it doesn't slide, so the housing pops out.
