FS: 1977 Tommassini 58x60 Frameset - 80's Cycleart Repaint
Sold
In another atempt to save me from myself I am offering this frame for sale.
According to the original owner, this is a 1977 Tommassini frameset that he sent out to Cycleart in the 80s to doll it up in the new decals. The paint is exceptional, with the decals very nicely buried under the clear coat.
Overall the frame is in perfect structural condition and the paint, while showing some typical signs of use, is excellent overall.
The frame measures 58cm ctc along the top tube and ~60cm ctc 61cm ctt.
I am asking $550 shipped CONUS for the frame. If you would like to purchase it with one of the Campy groups I have here, I will knock $50 off the total purchase price. I also have a Record headset I can include for an additional $50.
NOW $350 shipped CONUS
Please see pics HERE for details.

This poor frame. I remember that I came close to buying it from the Pros Closet years ago. I thought someone else picked up and could have sworn it was for sale here once before, but maybe I am wrong on that.
Nice paint
good fittings
my size
minimal chrome

I really can’t stop coming back and looking at this frame. It is exactly my size and colors that I want…if I were to get a different bike. It is totally a perfect match…..unfortunately I am just not riding enough right now. GLWTS….just wanted to comment so that I could follow it….

I can't believe no one has bought this. If it were my size, I wouldn't have been able to resist it.

Swell deal at that price. Maybe edit the price in your original post, and you may get more interest.

If still available could you provide some more info for me?
-What Columbus tubing is it?
-Any idea what frame + fork weighs?
-Could you tell me the dropout spacing? (i.e. 126 or 130)

Unless the rear has been spread, the dropout should be 120mm, or 126mm. This is right when the transition was happening for a lot of makers.
