Do you guys ever get this with your knee?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Do you guys ever get this with your knee?

So when I'm on my road bike which I don't use daily, when I get off the bike when I'm done my right knee feels out of joint. I can walk o.k. but bending it feels weird. When I straighten my leg completely and press the knee in it hurts like an ache. I think when this happened before I popped something back in? Have you guys had this before?

Not good. Take a month off, get a bike fit, try again. If it happens again, see a doctor.

no and it's not normal. You do need to get a good bike fit. The problem could be your cleat position, your shoe, your saddle height in combination with any of those factors or something else entirely but I would be very careful and get some help evaluating it. This is probably not the best place .

I've had this type of injury left over from boxing but on my left knee, which in turn caused my knee to feel out of joint when pressing the clutch in my car, which in turn made my knee feel out of joint when first dialing in my bike fit. I raised the saddle and moved the layback forward and it helped for me. Though I was able to feel the discomfort while pedaling, not just after.
