Suntour Superbe bottom bracket components, soon to be installed in a Fuji Opus III. The caged bearings will be replaced with loose bearings.

Beat the ebay parts sellers this week by picking these up for $30 for the pair.
And it's going on this once I find an appropriate 36 spoke back rim...
Technically the OEM crank isn't Superbe Pro but the Sakae Aerox is a good looker, and it's original, so I'll keep it. Might keep an eye out for Superbe Pro calipers, but the 105 SLRs (matched to original Diacompe Aero GC levers) are really good period appropriate brakes.

But the 105 SLR single pivots are right up there. Especially with 600 tri-color SLR levers... it don't get much better. (The 105 SLR levers do not suck. But the 600s are mo betta.)
I've never tried SLR levers with Superbe Pro calipers. If the lever and caliper springs balance out like I hope they would, it'd be nirvana with awesome sauce and a side order of amazing.

Superbe Pro "hidden spring" calipers are, IMHO, the best road bike brake ever made.

I have a bike with a 6400 series single pivot (back) and dual pivot (front) brakes with 6400 series levers- that's a nice braking bike.

The Royal Gran Compes you show are later than the 1st-gen Spb Pro. There's a fair amount of parts interchangeability, but the arm profiles are different----look at the extra rearward arm projection on the Gran Compe, overhanging the the spring. And the shoe holders are very different, and not interchangeable.
I could very likely be wrong, but I don't think there were any, at least not many, Yoshigai-made Suntour-branded brake calipers that were identical to Yoshigai/Dia-Compe calipers. Lots of similarities, but never (at least seldom?) simply rebranded calipers. Especially at the higher end.
