What model is this Bianchi?

The Suntour GPX groupset leads me to believe that it might be a 1989 Brava, but I'm not entirely sure. Theres no model decal and I can't find any history on the purple color with the black top tube. Any ideas?

That could be up to a 93 model. They did that style of paint job on a few models for a few models.

This is a '89 Brava. I am pretty sure it is the only year Bianchi used a GPX group. Those decals were mostly used in '88/89. The original color is the Sierra blue someone added the black. MSRP was around $699 Are the rims the Araya CT-19? Judging by them this hasn't seen much use.

Thank you! I was hoping you would chime in! The rims actually Matrix Titan. I had a sneaking suspicion that the paint job might be an afterthought. Thank you for confirming!

This Bianchi was the only 52cm bike I could find in my town inside my $200 budget. I like it a lot!
