Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We rarely see snow. As such, I have no pictures of my bike and snow. Oh well. While a large portion of the country has ice storms and freezing temps, we're just enjoying the 60s and 70s. I shudder to think of what summer will be like

That should be very close to where I took my picture of my bike in "snow". Is this the closed portion connecting to the 2? I should try it out.

Yes, close to the 2. Sometimes there are lots of sharp rocks on the road and there are always holes.

It's the bike I ride around the neighborhood, when it snows.
Earlier this year, not this year's coming snow season.

OK, I'll play:

I couldn't quite get down the trail that day, but the nice scraped-down road to the right was pretty fun. I think it still counts as ROAD cycling...even if you need a different kind of bike to get down the road!

It was 65° today, the large ski resort 10 miles from my house was open last week, they're closed now. Took this a few weeks ago. Sorry there isn't much snow yet. We got hammered last year.

From March of this year. Roads were relatively dry that day.

Yes, it appears to be a road bike.

Nice SES bars BTW - and the spacers under the stem I thought, must be a fast rider.

LOL.

I'm a medium rider, perhaps.

For what it's worth I got rid of about half of them in a fitting.
