Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't have a hanging scale, but according to my bathroom scale, it's 15.4lb.

It's my first CF frame and I really didn't want to spend more than a few hundred to try it. So far, I can't really tell a difference. My old Al Giant was half a lb lighter. Man I would love to hit sub-15.

My 04 Ev Boron
105 drivetrain, Cosmos wheelset, arione, timeimpacts. Planning a huge overhaul next fall after the season (dura ace, ksyrium sl, thomson, chris king, etc), I can't seem to get rid of the frame, I guess I like it too much. Steel is real as they say.

Thanks! It's been great to me. I'm just patiently waiting to upgrade. I've been riding on the same components for almost 3 years now. I love the frame too much to get rid of it though. How can anyone dislike celeste?

Cool bike...

Those handlebars are a bit turned up though and look extremely uncomfortable...... but whatever works....

My new 2008 Madone 6.5
https://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g...ofIMG_2847.jpg
https://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g...ofIMG_2846.jpg
I did some mods at the shop as follows: Swapped Bonty Race X Lite saddle for a Toupe Team, added Look Keo Carbon Pedals (chromoly spindles), swapped the Bonty Race X Lite Compact Crank for a standard Dura Ace 53/39, added red Selle San Marco bar tape, swapped the Bonty Race X Lite tires for Specialized Mondo 23c, and added ZIPP carbon bottle cages. Before the changes, the bike weighed in at 15.3 lbs w/out pedals (58cm frame). BTW, I'm running a SRAM 11-26 cassette.

Sold off my Scott CR-1 with the intentions on picking up an Scott Addict, but ended up with a Look 595 in some twisted form of fate. After two dates together thus far, I'm certain this is the one!

Build features a Red group, Fulcrum Racing Zero's shod in Pro3 rubber, a Selle Italia SLR kit carbonio flow, and a Cinelli Ram bar.

Oh, by the way Ted Ward, my Look 595 can beat up your Look 595!

That's the first bike I've seen with colored tires that I liked. Is that a quick release on the seat?
