Pre Chicago bike swap party? Any thoughts?

Hey guys,
I thought about doing another Pre-show party on Saturday February 10th.

This will be the third event. Everyone had a lot of fun the last couple so I thought I'd do it again.

Location: At the Garage in Naperville IL.
When: Saturday before the Chicagoland bike swap in St Charles IL Feb 10th
Why?: To show bikes, Bring a bike to share and show. To hang out with other vintage bike geeks!
Who: Folks that can make it to Naperville, Vintage bike geeks only!

No cost to come.
Food and drink will be provided.

If you're interested let me know. Either by private message of send me an email at jjhabbs@gmail.com

I went to the first two -- had a lot of fun -- and would love to be at the third one but will be out of town. If you're within several hours drive you should go if you can -- it's well worth it. John is a gracious host with a great space, and there are lots of cool bikes to ogle (his collection and those brought by others) and fellow bike geeks to commune with. Here are two inadequate phots to give you just a flavor of what you'll enjoy -- plus a great upstairs space, too!

Love the Lotus Supreme...dream bike of mine.

You sure that is not a Gap rather than Loto? Chrome lugs and regular seat stay attachment (rather than integrated pinch bolt and seat stay top mountIng).

Not positive. This is the only proof I have.

Thanks

That looks like a lot of fun.
If I still lived in Milwaukee, I'd surely attend.

Do you have room for two of my bikes over in the Concours de Lemon' arena?

Good Morning Everyone!! I'm going to try and bump this a bit for John. Now that I have Lilith set up for transporting a bike, and will be ready for at least two by Feb 1 I have a question for all of you. Which bikes would you like to see? My Ugly Betty is certainly coming so hopefully someone can indetify her plus she might be the only bike there with a working Portecatena system.

The beautiful and great riding but unknown Ugly Betty

The Batavus Pro with her hogepoge of miscellaneous kit?

My fabulous Bianchi Proto built with MAX tubes?

What about my Fauxango? The colorful Cornelo Triomphe?

Esmarelda?

Or the Bertoni "Speckled Trout"

Or maybe the...... It's a tough choice...
