Couldn't talk myself out of a ride today.

I've got so many projects going on at work that I'm dead tired by the time my days done. Then the drive home and I'm almost a slug by the time I pull in my driveway. All the way home I'm talking myself into a nap before the wife get's home. So I pull in the driveway and get out of the car, and realize what a nice day it is, but the couch is still calling.
That's when I reminded myself that I wouldn't make excuses to not ride when I had no excuse not to ride. So the plus bike got the call and it was off to the woods for some fun. So glad I didn't visit the couch until after the ride.

The temperatures around here have finally gotten comfortable. Now the wind is howling.

I rode an west/east out and back on Saturday and Sunday with 20 mph sustained winds and gusts up to 40 at times (not a lot of fun).

Yesterday and Today we've got sustained winds in the mid to high 20's and gusts up to 50 mph. Needless to say, it's a bit dangerous to ride in this wind.

As par for the course my region is slated for the heaviest snowfall.
