134 for December. A daytime ride on the 31st added 43 miles. Was hoping for a 2500-ish year and ended up with 3050. WFH and decent fall weather helped a lot. First time I’ve done 3K in over 20 years. Seems like 2500-3000 is a good bike/life balance for me. All miles were on the Schwinn.

New tires early in the season, new chain around the mid-point. Had a bottle cage break in November. Also changed from 48T to 50T and trued the wheels.
Due for an overhaul this winter. Coming up on 10K since I built it up in late 2017. Just got 5” of snow, so riding is on hold for a while.

I need to to make a more serious commitment to do more riding in 2022, I have been stuck around 4K for the past 5 years.

Congrats to all who got out on the bike(s) regularly, maintaining their physical and mental health!
I had a good year, putting 8882 miles on my modest collection of bikes. That's a good year for me, and it included many rides with friends. One noteworthy aspect to this year is that I was able to do a bit of regional traveling and get out on roads I don't see much. A favorite area is St. Louis, about 3 hours south of me. There is a good bike trail running along the Mississippi and Illinois rivers that offer scenic views.....
Steve in Peoria, hoping for more opportunities to see new roads in 2022!

With all the rain in California in December, the miles were on the bike were down, but the swimming yards were way up.

Same goal as last year, well probably the last 4 year, is 4500 miles. Once retirement comes in 2 or 3 years I hope to up it significantly.
It looks like I am already behind my previous years.

Put in 346 for August. Went to Maine for 5 days and had visitors for a weekend. 400-mile months have been elusive this season.

Gotta love Strava, otherwise I'd have no idea. I also feel a 'little' guilty about including virtual rides, but my legs can't tell the difference (ok, they can). I also spent a good bit of June & July paddleboarding and kayaking, so at least I've been moving. :-)

I was right around 400 miles for August. Didn’t even track mileage on my last ride of the month! Would have liked to have been around 500-600 miles, but it wasn’t in the cards. For the year, I’m around 3K.

1160 miles for August. That might be too much for me to be doing ... might be best to have more recovery time. A lot depends on whether I'm riding with my fast friends or my slower friends.
5989 miles for the year to date.
Steve in Peoria (been fortunate to have had reasonable weather in August)

My Sept was 345 miles, not terrible considering that I mostly had time to ride once per week. That doesn’t include commuting and errand running, which is about 50 more. For the year, I’m at about 3,100.

September was my low mileage month so far this year due to some family commitments: 251 miles.
I'm at 3,664 miles for the year, so if I can bring my monthly average up a little I might make 5,000 for the year.

It's been an off year for me hue to motivation. The usual 30 to 40 mile weekend rides have turned into 20. Hopefully it's just a temporary thing and not a sign of getting to old to go the distance.
I have had 4000+ miles every year for the past 15, probably won't happen this year.
September 302 miles, 2606 for the year.

My October was 418 miles, which included about 28 miles on Zwift. That puts me at about 3,500 for the year. I don’t think I’ll be getting to 5K this year!
