Upgrading to deore rear derailleur

Hello guys, I'm using a shimano altus derailleur which was provided with my bicycle, now I want to change it to deore{9/10** derailleur? My bike is a 9×3 machine. Thanks

This is the "fitting your bike" forum. Even the dumbest newbie would have figured out to ask this question where it is most likely to get answerred - namely in the "bike mechanics" subforum.
