Rigid fork compatibility

I have an '01 Trek 6700 WSD with a Rock Shox Judy C suspension fork. The fork has 80mm of travel, 40mm rake, and 26" wheels. Surly doesn't make 1x1, Big Dummy, or Troll forks anymore and they aren't in stock. I did find an Ogre fork with 447mm (a-c) and 43mm offset. Would this be a suitable replacement?

I'd like a rigid fork as I will be using this as my winter bike and would prefer not to have suspension. I don't plan on doing any downhill or mountain biking in the near future.

The fork I'm looking at: https://www.universalcycles.com/shop...s.php?id=95582

Without knowing the measurements of the Judy it's hard to tell what will work, but I'd be looking for a suspension-corrected 26" fork.

What is the A-C of your current fork?

I did see those in my research. I'm partial to Surly forks as they seem to be closest to the dimensions that I need.

About 459mm with maybe 10mm of sag when loaded.

It wouldn't work if you are using rim brakes on a 26" front wheel.

That Soma 80mm suspension corrected fork with a 440mm axle to crown measurement would be perfect if you're still using rim brakes.

Take 20% sag (16mm) off a 80mm travel fork with a axle to crown measurement of 459mm and you'll have a axle to crown measurement of 443mm.

.

Take 25% sag off a 80mm travel fork with a axle to crown measurement of 459mm and you'll have a axle to crown measurement of 439mm.
I'll take a look at that one again, thanks!
