Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

My Bike is (nearly) completed!

Hi guys , for many month i was working at my singlespeed/fixed bike.
That was a frame in very bad conditions , i bought almost everything and finally i can see a little results (little becouse is not ended but i can use for fun).
This evening i swapped the old cassette with a singlespeed one (i'm still waiting since 2months for a completed wheel with a flipflop hub).
Also i have done some little modification : brake pads , handlebar trape and more stuff..
Today the first ride!
Sorry for the bad photo but here is the middle of the night.

Nice. Did you have it powder coated? I had a bike in similar bad condition that needed some small repairs and new paint. I had a lot of fun on it after getting it all fixed up.

I used the same paint of the cars , and a compressor to do the job. But maybe in the future i'm going to repaint it.

Stop taking photos like that

Nice looking bike, but I hate seeing people make photos of their bikes on ledges. What a loss if it topples over!
