Sticky used saddle looking for solutions

I bought a Fizik Arione on ebay and noticed on the first ride that it is quite Tacky one warmed up making repositioning difficult and sticking to my shorts when I stand up. These saddles use a microtex cover which I'm assuming is some type of synthetic leather. I've spent over an hour searching for solutions online. I've tried the following:

-washing with foaming shoe cleaner with brush 4 times
- shoe cleaner with magic eraser
- simple green with magic eraser
- lexol leather conditioning wipes

Zero improvement.
Once dry it returns to its Tacky state.
I'm considering using Kiwi shoe polish/stain but have heard that it stains bike shorts and isnt really designed for this purpose.

Any solutions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Weird. Although I have three Fizik saddles with different coverings, I’ve no experience with that issue in particular, but generally speaking, once a plastic gets gummy, there’s no restoring it that I’ve ever seen.

It could have been a cleaning chemical applied to it that caused the reaction changing the surface sticky, but I also kind of wonder if it might not be a knock-off Fizik made with cheap materials…

I found that a plastic/rubber kitchen item that got tacky could be fixed by rubbing with baking soda. Cover generously and massage it in well. Then wash it off. I don't know if it will tackle your issue or not. I, of course, read about that method on The Web (g)

Probably was used by a triathlete who repeatedly peed on the saddle. You might try some products designed to clean up pet urine.

91% rubbing alcohol is your best bet. Might take some elbow grease, but should remove anything sticky like adhesive residue

If all else fails try a Lycra seat cover. They come in colors. Here is an example.
