1982 Austro Daimler SLE by Puch

For sale is an '82 (I think: https://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalo...ler/82/SLE.jpg) Austro Daimler SLE. It's 57cm CTC and about 59cm CTT, with a 57cm top tube (approx.).

The frame is 531, but the fork is not, unfortunately. It has Weinmann brakes, a Huret front derailer and shifters, a Campagnolo rear derailer, Nervar cranks, Puch stem, Weinmann rims with Maillard hubs, a saddle with the leather coming off, etc.

I haven't done anything to it since I got it, except make sure that the stem and seatpost aren't stuck (they're not), so it will need the regular vintage bike overhaul (though I would ride it a little bit as is, since the tires are holding air). It's got some scratches you can see in the pics, someone was rough on the seat binder bolt housing, and it's got marks under the chainstays from a kickstand, most likely.

I'll ship it for $200. Sold!

Dropped the price to $250, that includes shipping.

Would it be better to part it out?

Just a few questions...
1. What size are the wheels, 27 or 700c?
2. What is the seatpost and pedals? Is the seatpost 27.2 or is the weird Reynolds metric size?
3. Is that a Tange Falcon headset?

The wheels are 700c.
The seatpost is 27.2 and is one of those famous(!) G.S. posts (https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...-identify.html) and the pedals are KKT Pro Vic II.
Yes, it's a Tange Falcon headset.

PM sent for info.

And it is a Selle San Marco if it has the GS. What a weird story of a seatpost. Now who MADE it is the unknown.
