This is for a friend’s mid-80’s Rodriguez that he’s not sure he wants to spread for an 8-speed hub. He’s new to road cycling, and I haven’t convinced him yet that the bar-ends on it now might actually be better in the long run.
Have you considered the Cadillac solution -- 8-speed Campy ergos and derailleurs with a 7-speed Shimano cassette? The sticker shock alone might convince him to give his bar-ends a try. In any event, Campy seems much better for a Rodriguez than Sora.

Thanks for those thoughts, Andy. You can be sure I considered one of my Sachs Ergo sets, but I’m not willing to give up my last medium cage New Success RD, which wouldn’t have enough chain take-up for the range of gears he wants, anyway.

The Rodriguez owner is newly back to road riding after a multi-decade break, but he is a very devout gym spin cyclist. I was actually quite surprised that he went for the Rodriguez frame we found at Bike Works, and doubt he’d care about the ‘correctness’ of Campy on it. That we were able to get the bike for a screaming deal didn’t hurt. Thanks to @RiddleOfSteel’s help, we found a perfect touch up paint for the dings in the metallic deep blue paint. The gold cable housings I had on-hand look great with the gold/red decals, too. No photos yet.

Thanks

There's one available on ebay, pricey, $111.34 from France. Doesn't have the Colnago decal, but for only $33 more you can get the decals.

Just went to the .fr of the bay, and that was the price! Stickers are a bit steep though. I'll rebuild the old wheel first

Right now, I am having issues with pictures and Windows Edge.
PM's only. PM's only. I'll get pics but probably not until next week.

Have:
NIB Shimano R7000 carbon SPD-SL pedals with cleats. Bought by mistake.

99/00 Serotta Atlanta frame/fork. S/N: 52-2174. I measured it as 52.75x53, but go figure. Carbon F1 fork.
Has scrapes under the TT and a bit on one side of the TT, some scuffs on the fork.
Too small for me, or I'd have the local PPG store mix me some touch up paint.

89 Schwinn Paramount frame/fork. S/N: 570 SWB 89063. Dark red metallic. A few scuffs, just too big for me.

6800 group[, to include 172.5 53/39, crankset, no BB, braze-on FD, RD, STI's, calipers. New takeoff/really clean mix. It's just come up extra.

Black 5700 sorta group, classic look, modern kit, to include FD (clamp-on 31.8), RD, 2/3 x 10 DT shifters (DA 7800), FSA Team Issue Carbon crankset w/6500 BB, Axis 2.0 calipers in slate, or Ultegra 6500 calipers. I have some black calipers by Tektro, Cannondale branded, that look good but I'm not a fan of them.

Suntour GPX group, to include 2x7 shifters, 28.6 FD, short cage RD, calipers, brake levers w/white hoods, crankset, BB, hubs laced to polished M21 tubular rims, pedals (no clips, uses "standard" clips), and skewers. Suntour freewheel mounted is 7sp 13-28.

Sachs/Modolo 2x7 group[/B], to inclue 2x7 shifters, 28.6 FD, short cage Rd, calipers, brake levers w/white hoods. I have R crank arms, 170, nice w/rings, but the L crank arm is solidly fixed to a BB spindle.

Bontrager RXL rear, RL front, match fairly close, black. Recently rebuilt. Front is polished aero spokes, Rear is polished round spokes. 8/9/10.

Velocity Road V rims, silver, laced to upper end Origin8 hubs (high polish) with pair spoke design, but 28 spoke, very sturdy. Handbuilt by Gary at TLC bikes in Raleigh NC. Clydesdale strong.

Campagnolo Aero water bottle, no cage. I wouldn't drink out of it. Looks fine.

66-44 bars in great shape 26.4

66-42 bars in good shape 26.4

44cm ITM bars in great shape 25.4

100mm Cinelli XA stem in really nice condition 26.4 with white wedge PENDING

130mm Cinelli 1A stim in nice condition 26.4

Nitto Young 90mm in great condition 25.4

ITM Racing 90 stem, 100mm, in average condition (black with some scuffing) 25.4

Shimano 5800 RD (3). All SS. Varying condition from real nice to average.

ISO:
Campagnolo SR/NR FD, clamp-on 28.6 SECURED
Campagnolo SR/NR RD
Long cage converter kit for the RD
Campangnolo SR/NR DT shifters SECURED
Campagnolo NR/SR crankset/BB (English)
(Basically a mid-70's Campy drivetrain)

80mm carbon stem 31.8
90mm carbon stem 31.8

Dura Ace 9000 hoods.

Nice 25-28mm skinwall tubulars.

Veloflex Master 25 clinchers (skinwall)

A nice set of carbon 11-sp wheels. Prefer Aeolus, but will consider others. Nothing with a lot of wear. If you want multiple items, like a frame, the 6800 group, bars, stem, etc. I'm flexible and can add to the deal to make things square. Long shot, I know.

PM's only. PM's only. I'll get pics but probably not until next week.

Unsold items go to the 'Bay next week.

ISO used electric Radbike or utility bike

I'm a disabled Navy Veteran that just started my own organic urban garden concentrating on microgreens. My goal is to be as sustainable and green as possible, so seeking an electric bike, trike or utility bike for my deliveries. Thanks!

Thanks, lots of clean up and polishing to be done but it has the bi plane type forks and is 4130 chromo. Not sure I will go after an original GelFlex Avocet saddle just yet. That mount is just ugly though.

ISO: the rail clamp bit from a Simplex seat post from a PX-10. You can see on the right in the pic below that the bolt sheered off when I tried to remove the nut; bolt and "ear" are all one piece, I believe. Let me know if you have such a thing! I have many C&V bits to trade.

And here's the one on the other side, still intact:

That looks like it came from the same builders of the Schwinn High Sierra and Sierra - just a few component changes.

i know there are some fans of these: a Rhode Gear Flickstand, used but functional with an "arm" that's about 1.75", slight chipping off of the plating on the hex "washer", but other pieces are good.
What I want is a Shimano Deore LX NDS crank arm in 175 with no damage to threading or square bore, cosmetics not important, would take a full LX crankset with or W/O chanirings and obviously adjusting the "trade imbalance" with other parts (send me a list) or that "other stuff" we do not name..

UPDATE: I got a crank arm that may be OK but the square bore is a bit damaged so may not fit, meanwhile still have this flickstand as well as a few other bits so will be adding to the list of "HAVES".
