You have just made my day with this bit of news!!
I HAVE to be there!
No mention of an organized ride but you can always find one up there. Shades of The ol’CR event.

I think I know what a classic bike is, but let’s have an Exotic bike definition.
those who attend, take lots of images please!
wrong side of the country.

Thanks. I'm planning on going, I want to try and find a vintage CX bike. Wonder how many people will actually be there because of the virus.
*edit* Does anyone know if bike co-ops show up to these things? I have a ton of spare parts and wheels I've been wanting to give away and get out of my house. I've been to these meets before but never paid attention to see if you can donate stuff.

If anyone who goes to this swap meet sees a Campy Triomphe left arm for not silly money
please grab it and let me know, I am (still) on the hunt for one.

I'm on the fence for attending this as well, a group ride with a chance to meet some BF members would make it more appealing. Anyone have any specifics on either of the rides?

I went once 5-6 years ago. I lived a couple hours away but it was often scheduled the same weekend as our local annual charity bike ride (Storming of Thunder Ridge). I didn’t do the ride but the swap meet and vintage bike displays were good and it was worth the drive to get there to me.

Jon sent me some info on the 20 & 27 mile rides and it looks to be a Saturday ride among vendors who will need to be there 9-2 on Sunday. I was hoping for a Sunday morning ride 8 or 9 ish and then hit the swap meet, or it the good stuff goes fast, maybe a 10:00 ride start after looking over the merch and probably going back before they close at 2:00. It looks like the shop is right on the Latham Park Greenway so we could ride from the event parking...any "consumers" like that idea?

Answers that question about where the swap is. Every other time it was at the Lewis rec center. Be cool to see the new shop again.

It's a "swap" meet, buy-trade-sell, but "However no visitors will be allowed to bring goods with them into the meet". So I guess to trade you have to purchase a seller's space. I have 2 or 3 items I would offer up for trade but not worth it I guess.

Has anyone attended this and can tell us how it was? It was a bit or a drive for me, but if it sounds like I really missed out, I might go next year if they have it. Thanks!

Really would have liked to have gone, as it's less than a 2 hour drive - but between Delta and my employment status, will have to hope there's another one in the future.

I went, it was nice to attend a vintage cycling event after a long time without! It was smaller than past cirques, and not crowded at all. And it was hot! I also checked out Dale's store which was a treat. I scored a few things, a vintage campy musette, some lyotard city pedals, and a nice big (32t) 5 speed freewheel. Will go again if possible!
