Hey everyone my name is Sean, I'm 25 years old and live on Long Island ny. Me and my wife have recently started riding our bikes along the beach, in some of the local parks and just for casual rides. I purchased Raleigh venture 3.0 just to use as a casual bike it's fun and comfortable to ride. This recent interest in cycling has sparked a major drive for me to dive deeper into the sport and possibly get a road bike and join some races or bike groups. I'm currently looking for any advice on a starter road bike just to get my foot in the door but I also don't want a cheap junkie. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks again

Welcome to the forums! You are in the right place to get good solid advice. After you get some ideas, go ride several and visit some bike shops. Best advice I can give you is get a bike that fits, it will make all the difference in the world. Good luck!
