Howdy!
Greetings from Boulder, CO!
I primarily joined the forum for the track/ training section, as -after trying out the local velodrome- I am quite intrigued with it all, and would like to start racing. However, I have been riding for quite a few years now, mostly for fun, and as a means of transportation around town while in undergrad, and since it is so easy here.
For about 3-4 years, I mostly rode an American Flyer frame that I found on craigslist (as my daily commuter) that was single speed when I bought it, but, I decided to convert it to fixed gear, upon learning I already had a flip flop hub. For the past year and a half or so, I have been riding a Salsa El-go-go Tri/TT bike, that I bought from a friend, because I wanted to get into road cycling more. The newest addition to my collection, is a Van Dessel Drag Strip Courage track frame that was for sale at the velo for a great price, so I am in the process of building that up now for the track.
A bit about me:
I am an architectural designer fulfilling my requirements for the licensing exams currently, and, in my spare time, when not cycling, I dabble in home brewing (mostly mead/ honeywine).
I look forward to all the knowledge on the site!
