Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This reminds not to put a red colored tire on my R3. Otherwise, everything looks great.

There seems to be something wrong with your wheels. That metal part shouldnt be there. I would take them back.

Typical BF comments. What you didn't spend $100 for a Campy Record bottle cage. What a Fred. blah blah blah. There like 8 grams heavier at half the price then most cages.

Damn guys, those are cf cages.

Also, that's about the smallest bag you can get. I really don't like loading up my pockets with anything more than gels or bars.

It's actually a 56. I really think I should cut the fork.

I'll have an accurate weight in the morning.

Maybe because I see so many Cervelo's on my weekend rides it's tough to get excited about them. Until I learned about the SLC-SL.

Sleek, black, looks fast parked. I like it.

But we need a White Door picture...! And more angle shots, close ups, and even riding shots.

If he was concerned about weight vs. price, he probably should have gotten Sram Red, Tubulars, and Ti speedplays instead of spending $1,300 more than the standard soloist for 200 grams.

The problem with those cages is that they are cheap and look out of place on that bike. You can get cages that aren't from performance's bargain bin for about the same price.

Agree, I think if you are buying a the SL version of the bike then weight is of importance ( enuff to spend the extra $$$$) that being said tubulars should be on such a nice bike.. tubulars would save you alot more weight.

nice bike tho.. holy moly.

+1. To me black on black or blue on black are just natural color combos.

Nice bike - may it give you endless miles of pleasure

Might I ask what stem you're running?

EDIT: nevermind, found it.

Is it me or does the frame look a little too BIG for you? You have the Toupe jammed all the way forward, the stem all the way down, and the seatpost isn't showing much for the sloping TT. Something about your fit just doesn't make much sense (unless you've got incredibly long arms for a short lower body, or something)

Amazing looking bike, but if you've spent all the money for such a beauty you need either:
A) to get fitted properly to squeeze all the potential out of that bike
B) a smaller frame

my .02, from the kid on an aluminum Soloist Team haha

Wouldn't the seat all the way forward and little seatpost showing (I disagree there) suggest the bike is too big?

+1. I was thinking the frame might be a little large. Having said that, judging by the height of his saddle, the OP should be able to dial this in just as well as a 54.

*edit*

F*ck. I just looked at fore/aft of the saddle. It does seem a bit far forward.
