I WILL be in the top one thousand of my country, Ricky Bobby.

I know Euro was a Brit, but he'll always be French in my thoughts.

Under your usa cycling tab thing, find a race, it should have 'rank' beside it.

This is my first of 15 races that have been reported.

Hmmm... the subject of the "Cypress Power Thread" and the OP of the "Cypress Thighs" thread has struck a note of humility?

Not to diminish Cypress' acheivements. But it does point to a rather obvious flaw in the system. You can be finishing top 10 in 100 person fields in populated areas, and be ranked behind someone finishing top 5 in 20 person fields in Montana. Until they race head to head the ranking is about as accurate as a BCS computer.

1 Rank in your zip code (12168)
43 Rank in your state (NY)
7 Rank in your riding age (22)
45 Rank in 5 year age range (20-24)
125 Rank in 10 year age range (20-29)

Here's the stats from my page:
Your USCF Criterium Cat 4 Standings
1 Rank in your zip code (27516)
2 Rank in your state (NC)
4 Rank in your riding age (28)
13 Rank in 5 year age range (25-29)
18 Rank in 10 year age range (20-29)
59 Overall Rank

Your USCF Road Race Cat 4 Standings
2 Rank in your zip code (27516)
10 Rank in your state (NC)
15 Rank in your riding age (28)
88 Rank in 5 year age range (25-29)
154 Rank in 10 year age range (20-29)
580 Overall Rank

So 59th in crits (of which I do more and generally finish higher), and 580th in RRs- guess I need to work on the RR finishes

Ummm... OK, maybe not quite so much of an achievement as 13th nationally.

I'm still quite sure you'd kick my behind. Except in matters of thigh girth.

Woohoo, poked around a bit, and realized 2426 was how many points I had. Turns out amongst Cat 5's I'm
1 Rank in my zip code (32225)
13 Rank in my state (FL)
11 Rank in my riding age (48)
49 Rank in 5 year age range (45-49)
112 Rank in 10 year age range (40-49)
406 Overall Rank

I've cracked the top 1000 in my country!!!

This reminds me of a question I had... Isn't there a way to find out how many Cat5s, Cat4s, Cat3s, etc. there are in the country? I seem to recall that there are something like 60000 total USAC cyclists but I don't know what the Cat breakdown is... I seem to remember there only being something like 1000 Cat2s but maybe that number is low.
