Real or fake? - Cannondale Supersix Evo EF Team
Hi, I was looking for a road bike and came across a Cannondale Supersix Evo EF Team (full bike) with the following specifications:
The seller claims that the frame is original and not a custom repaint. The price is listed at USD 2,255 (IDR 35,000,000). The seller, who is a legit bike shop, seems to offer a good deal.
Can anyone here confirm if this is an original product, and what are your thoughts about it? The price seems too good to be true. Thanks in advance.

Those limited edition custom painted Palace collaboration framesets went for more than double that on their own, so... 🤷♂️

Real or fake? No idea. Low quality photos don't help much. It could be real and that would be a dead set bargain. Could be fake and even with those build parts it still reads as a bit of a bargain.
Actually, it's more than likely fake. I think only a very, very limited number of these custom painted frames were available worldwide.

and is it just me or does the corner of the triangle behind the head tube look the wrong shape? The video one looks more square at the top vs the photo above.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was legit, especially going through an honest bike shop. I would ask the seller about its history. I would also search to see if this particular paint job has been widely faked before.
The build is a bit of a mash-up, so obviously not original or was built up from a bare frame.
Bikes like this are not going to have a big market really. I certainly wouldn’t pay any extra for this paint job over standard.

Don't rely on a bike forum and 3 low resolution pictures to get the confirmation you're looking for and spend your hard earned money... When in doubt, always assume the negative answer until proven otherwise. If it's sold by a reputable LBS, they should have or be able to find proof that it's genuine.
You can also note the serial number and call Cannondale.
EDIT: Upon closer look and by comparing with other google map pictures and Cannondale's website, the paint job doesn't seem to match the other ones.

The frame in the video has a small decal at the top of the seatstay that is not there on the OP’s photo. But there may or may not be a legit reason for that.
Edit: The photo on the Cannondale website doesn't have this seatstay decal either, so that doesn't flag it up as a fake

Ask the shop for the serial number and then check with EF to verify it

What year is the bike? What price would just a normal SuperSix EVO be in that year model with those components on it? What are you really wanting out of this specific bike? It's still a bicycle.

If it is in Indonesia, then likely not legit. For whatever reason seems that there are a large number of scam sites that indicate location in Indonesia. Check how they accept payment and how you would get reimbursed if the bike never arrived.

Are you located in Indonesia, or is the dealer shipping the bike outside of the country? If located in the same country as the bike, is it possible you could have another legit dealer take a look at it before buying to verify authenticity? If you purchased and it turned out to be fake, what type of guarantee is there that you could get a refund? The old saying "if it's too good to be true, it usually isn't" might apply here.

How do you know it's a legit bike shop? Have you walked into it?

Still wondering what the question of fake is? A paint job that someone copied from Cannondale? Or is the OP thinking this is being advertised as a actual team bike that a actual member of EF rode?
Cannondale... the bicycle brand painted up a some of their frames and sold them for others to build out. That's what I think this is. Why should it be in doubt? The wheels and components don't readily appear to me as really high end. But after the person that bought this somewhat limited edition frame from Cannondale, they may not have had the money to put great stuff on it. Or they took that off and put on this stuff when they decided the paint didn't do much for their riding pleasure.
As for it being a actual bike ridden by anyone on Team EF, I doubt that. They usually will have the name of the rider that bike was for printed on the bike frame. EF does most every year sell their team bikes for any to purchase that want whatever prestige that might give. And when I looked myself into it five or so years ago, the prices weren't too bad.

Fwiw, I wouldn’t put any faith in a UCI sticker for authenticity. I have one of those on my Ridley, and all it means is the frame qualifies to run in UCI events.

If you don’t get it, I’m not going to draw the pictures to explain it. Feel free to argue with someone else.

I still want to know if OP has walked into this shop in Indonesia and took the pictures himself, or if these are pictures from the shop's site (I mean, "shop's" site). Every time I've seen a cool bike at a "shop" in Indonesia it takes about three minutes to prove the "shop" does not exist.
