Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Mines not getting married til she’s 35. And she’s not dating til she’s married.

I must be doing something wrong..I drink about 5 beers a night and have never had a hangover..well I did one time when I thought I would try some wine but I found out later I wasn't supposed to drink the whole bottle.

100% true story..If you knew me you would go yup that guy is a freaking hardass probably not afraid to bury you in the backyard...so when my SIL asked if he could have a word with me one day when I was in the garage working on my truck I figured he was going to ask me about those things that have gunpowder and lead in them....as we had been talking about them previously as he wanted to start hunting...i got up and said what's up...and he said "I want to ask your blessing to marry your daughter as I love her very much" now me being the genuine hardass had rehearsed for this moment and yet all I could do was start to bawl like a freaking baby and gave him a hug and said I would be honored so yea you think that but trust me it won't happen that way.

Yeah. A glass of wine doesn't mean the glass the bottle is made of.

My oldest has had a couple of “boyfriends.” They text and email each other.

My youngest has had the same “boyfriend” since 2nd grade. Great kid, has great parents. His dad and I do a lot of volunteer stuff together at the school so we can hang out and talk. I wouldn’t be upset if they ended up together as adults.

See if y’all can help me. Two of these light blew up in the last week. I went to the store just now and bought new ones. These are the new ones. The one in the middle one won’t work. I have tried other bulbs, nothing.

Also, these lights are on a dimmer, and the bulbs I bought said they are dimmable, but now they won’t dim. Thoughts?

Are you using a LED compatible dimmer? If not it will kill LED lamps.

Ahhhh, probably not. The led lights said they were dimmable but i’m sure the dimmer switch was not made for LED lights. So when you say it will kill LED lamps what does that mean?

Just looked it up again and an incandescent dimmer shouldn’t destroy LEDs like that. It just won’t usually work well. I’m still suspicious of the dimmer though.
