Looks nice! Really digging that all-polished look.
BTW what's that red thing at the track ends?
I'm still trying to think about what size to get. Still torn between the 50 and 53... though I'm leaning more towards the 53. And I liked the Black Magic stripper but it's sold out in most sizes.

Yeah I was getting a little too antsy cause I wanted to take advantage of the spring weather.
But the one frame i was kind of dead set on getting was the black magic one. Now that it's sold out I might as well calm down and wait. July feels like it's so far away though

Yeah, I was following the same c-c vs. c-t logic. I just worded it wrong.
My scrambler measures 51 cm c-t, which is probably about 49 c-c. The Kilo at 50 c-c might not be much of a step above, so I might be able to do 53 c-c, taking that into account. Need to keep mulling it over.

nope I edited my post and included how it originally came out of the box, and you can see that the fork was not altered.

Maybe the same impact that caused the fork to bend also elongated the steerer tube, or the comment "replaced everything" means "I bought a complete bike (in parts) and swapped out every one of them on the Kilo."

Nope wrong again, fork was never damaged well not by me if it was it was out of the box and I never noticed if you look at the pic of the older Kilo you will see they all had slight defects, replaced ever part may be a little exaggerated, I kept the seat post and headset. ooo by the way the pic of the originally Kilo is not mines I took it from this site as an example of how the originally 2008 black models looked.

so.. it's a different frame, right? i think the fork looks bent forward because the camera is slightly angled behind the bike. so you bought a complete kilo and only kept the seat post, headset, and fork?

No, it's the original Kilo frame I stripped the paint and had it powder coated white and blue, the only parts worth keeping from a 2008 model were the seat post and the headset everything else was garbage

How much is the Kilo TT usually compared to the sale price now? ($349.99 till April 1st). And how does the sizing go? I'm about 6'0 with a 30-31 inseam, whats suggested?

It depends on that Kilo model your looking at there are different models available on bike direct if that was your source.

Yeah I edited my post, the image of the untouched model is just to be used as an example of how the older black kilo looked since the new ones now have treadless forks

I think they probably only took about 20 dollars off from the original price, I don't like the classic kilo because they have all the decals on them, if I was you I would look at the Kilo stripper, it's a little more and you don't feel like a bill board every time you ride your bike.

Alright... I think I'm going to order the Stripper raw. It'd save me the time/effort of stripping and getting it clear coated, and probably looks better never getting painted anyways.

What headset comes on the 2010 Kilo TT Pro? From the pictures on BD, it looks as though they are Cane Creek. Are these the S-2's that a lot of people recommend for the Kilo TT's? I'm just wondering if this is something that will last or if I should upgrade them soon. Sorry, still a noob and learning.
