I found 10$ the other day while riding to work... that was pretty sweet. I stopped and grabbed a celebration coffee and donut with it, and still had about 7 left for lunch later on.
Also, a couple weeks ago I found a nice shortcut through campus to get to my class in the morning. I used to think i had to go around on the road because there was stairs in the way, but I found a way through...

Damn that is cheap.

Your cog is slipping.
On my way home from work, I decided to head down to the beach near my house. While waiting at a crosswalk on a pretty busy downtown street (no traffic light, just a crosswalk) for a chance to get safely across, a middle-aged dude in a beat Ford Taurus got all aggro...tossing his hands up and slamming on his brakes. I'm usually a pretty courteous rider so I motioned for him to just keep on going before he came to a complete stop. He then screamed "What the hell is wrong with you? Go!!!", so I replied "***** you very much, sir!" and went. I was barely out of his path when he floored it...his front tires peeling out...and took a hard right onto a one way side street. Right after making the turn (with his tires screeching the whole time), he proceeded to run up onto the big, sharp left-hand curb and flatten both of his driver-side tires. I rolled by him with quite a big you-know-what-eating grin on my face and I heard him yell "g*ddamn piece of sh*t!" once I was a good distance away.
I literally laughed hysterically all the way to the beach.
(I know it's not really the positive-vibe story the OP had probably intended for this thread, but it's a pretty good example of things coming around as they go around.)

Fox in ATL
Ridin' into work at 6am on Northside Drive within the 285 perimeter I saw a fox. It was only 5 yards ahead of me and didn't spook because I was on the quiet fixed gear. It finally saw my light and scatted across the road into hiding.

a hipster yelled "nice bike" at me when I was riding down South Street in Philly. I cannot believe how many fixed gear bikes I see every time I ride in that city

I intend to do this every-time I see someone hailing a cab...
does anyone else tend to get asked directions a lot solely for riding a bike in a city? it happens to me at least once a day....I don't mind giving directions but it begs the question. do people trust cyclists more than pedestrians?

I successfully skitched on a car up a slight incline on my way to get my rear wheel re-built today. It was my first real skitch (other than pulling my friends back), and while I won't do it very often (those hills are good for building strength), it was fun.
Also, I dropped 2 teeth off of my cog today and it was fun sprinting wherever I could.

Riding home, I caught up to a roadie in full tights and a nice cervelo frame, he didn't like it very much and began sprinting(he was going at a slower pace till I caught up to him at a light), I was on his tail the whole time, less than 3 feet behind him and acted very casual, mean while he kept looking backwards sprinting full force...he turned after 2 blocks

I guess you have to have a pretty good sense of direction if you bike in the city a lot. So maybe people think we know our way around better.

I did a skid 90 degrees to cut into a parking lot, avoiding an idiot on a cell phone. I felt pretty damn cool

had a good 15 kt onshore wind on my back, riding down a newly built bridge with a 30 mph sign and a speed radar at the end, and the sign read "46" while i passed. the cop at the bottom checking for speeders gave me the shaka sign. made my day.
