Last time I had an issue like that was moving up along the side of a fast and competitive pack ride. Apparently, my bike somersaulted spectacularly, but didn't touch anyone else. I also crushed my helmet. Thankfully, I walked away without even a headache, and minimal bike damage.

No idea how those specs are made. TV drinks ~200w per the Kill-A-Watt.

Monday we learned that the company will be closing down our site over the next 9 months. I personally am being retained but my group will be laid off. Now I have to put together a plan for closing down my group after 10 years. Just writing up the plan is making me upset.
I'm being offered remote work or relocation, though not immediately.
And what with one thing and another, including talking for a long time to a coworker/friend who IS being laid off, I haven't been able to ride yet this week, so I'm about to crawl outta my skin.

BTW, Mrs. GeneJockey and I looked at our finances and home value and I could retire and not end up living under a bridge, assuming we move someplace cheaper (and everyplace is cheaper). And I turn 65 two weeks after my group's last day.

Good luck with the decisions you have to make. I made the decision at the last minute before I turned 65. My anxiety was through the roof and I would have stayed on if they had been willing to work with me earlier. It's been 3 years and 4 months and I haven't gone broke yet.

Freaky. I get some odd chain behavior occasionally as well, and out of the saddle unweighting the rear wheel causes weird things to happen.

Woke up at 5 am for no reason. I use weather underground for my weather data. I like how it breaks the day down by each hour and from my experience when it comes to rain predictions it is usually spot on.
Today it is wrong. I woke up, checked the rain forecast and it showed nothing til 1 pm. drank my coffee and suited up, checked it again. Still nothing til 1 pm. Radar showed some small shower bands but nothing that would be more than a drizzle for a second or too.
Get the bike out, open the garage door and it’s pouring. Check the radar and now a cell has popped up out of no where. It’s camping right over my house.
Wx underground still says no rain til 1 pm. SMH.
