There seems to be so many models out there. I'm looking at a bike or kit that i can go around and find a replacement part or battery in a jiffy. I had a Honda civic in college and never had a problem finding parts for it. Kinda looking for something similar in ebikes.

IF you have a local bike shop that has electric bikes, then you can get replacent parts and/or batteries easily...
IF you don't have a local bike shop that has electric bikes, then you can still get replacent parts and/or batteries easily, as well..
So what's the difference?
PRICE.
Much cheaper to buy overseas or online.
Usually, you will pay 2x's the price for local.

Simple answer –no. The tarpits of e-bike evolution arefilled with one year wonders. Lots of mutt systems built with differentmanufacturers proprietary batteries and parts. Some of the top e-bike brands havereal warranties and a backstock of replacement parts. But…try to get a 1948Tucker headlight assembly...sooner or later they become extinct. -CC

Trek also “made” their ElecTrek e-bike 10 years ago… try to find parts for that.
The BionX system that Trek now uses in their + series is about as Honda-esque as the e-bike industry in the US has.
Consider any one of the major bike companies (Schwinn, Trek, Giant) as likely suppliers of their parts at least for awhile.
Until there is any kind of standardization in the industry, e-bike parts aquisition will be like early mountain bike suspension parts - a lottery system of luck. -CC

www.ebikekit.com.
They are the best (in terms of supplying everything you need).
I've order two kits from them, and am very satisfied.

Look at the history of Honda and you will see that it didn't start with a reliable car with available parts. Electric bikes are a long ways from that era still. Your best bet is a bike kit with separate parts that don't depend on one supplier. Every 'made for electric' bike I have seen have special size batteries made that you can't find when they need replacement.
