Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

WTF. In the off chance you run into someone from BF on the open road then maybe they will find it funny.

Otherwise, you will just be a ******bag who shelled out $45 on an ugly, irrelevant jersey.

Could it be that some of us are taking this a little too seriously?

Something like this, I believe:

It's hideous. I'd order one in a heartbeat, but it's probably a bit short, and I've got too many too-short jerseys already.

Isn't this the one that Tappets created? I've been in touch but it doesn't look like I'll get the design til next week. BTW what do you mean by short?

I'm 6'5", so very few jerseys are long enough. I have to try them on before buying.

I have to admit that even though I played my part to get this rolling I was never that involved in RyanF threads but this kit is going to be damm funny with the "drope the hamer" motif + the hamer 1 and hamer 2 and tape measures on the legs. Riders will think its funny even if they have never heard of RyanF or bikeforums.net. The design of the shorts needs to be better tied into the jersey design which is what Tappets will work on.

One thing I thought of is that Jan's face doesn't need to be on the sleeve and instead we could put "Jan, Crushing Souls" instead but maybe others like the face. What do others think?

Regards, Anthony

It can be a fine line between laughing at someone and laughing with them. I'm not the kind to laugh at someone and aparently RyanF was asking for a 50c royalty on each kit so he obviously didn't find them offensive so its not a problem in my book.

Ryan doesn't really want a royalty on them, FYI.

Thanks, I appreciate the clarification.

I will still insist that if RyanF is indeed a teenager then no matter what he agrees to I wouldn't get involved with this effort.

No one really knows for sure if the Ryanf-persona is fiction,
its all for s---s + giggles right?
What about the Fiddy Cent? The dude said he wanted it on each jersey before he was escorted out of the party?

Write me up for a L jersey and XL bibs. That's $100 even for those who haven't seen the price list.

Just a note to others: I am 6'3", in shape, and normally wear either Medium or Large racing jerseys and Large bibs. Champion runs a bit small in the bibs especially. That's why I need the XL.

You know, the down-side to all of this is having to explain what it is to non-BF riders everywhere you happen to wear the kit.

Except Lancaster. There, it will be understood.
